New to Jesus?

Connecting with God

We were all created to know God. But sin—anything contrary to His will—separates us from Him. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Separated by Sin

Sin doesn’t just create distance now—it leads to eternal separation from God, what the Bible calls “spiritual death.” “The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The Good News

God made a way for us to be restored to Him—through His Son, Jesus Christ. “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18).

Jesus took our punishment by dying on the cross, then rose again so we could have new life. Through Him, we can be forgiven, adopted into God’s family, and live with Him forever.

Will You Accept His Gift?

God offers this salvation freely, but He won’t force it on you. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

To believe in Jesus is to trust that He died for your sins, rose again, and to receive Him as your Savior. You can make that decision right now by praying:

Father, I believe Jesus Christ paid the penalty for my sin. I know He died and rose again for me. Please forgive me, come into my life, and change me from the inside out. I accept Jesus as the only way to connect with You. Thank You for Your amazing gift of love and forgiveness. Amen.

When you trust Jesus, He begins to transform your life, filling you with His Spirit and producing love, joy, peace, and more (Galatians 5:22–23). He will shape you into who He created you to be.

Your Next Step: Baptism

If you’ve just trusted Jesus as your Savior, that’s the greatest decision you’ll ever make! But don’t stop there—your next step is baptism. Baptism is a beautiful way to show on the outside what God has already done on the inside: He’s given you new life in Christ.
