- Those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ;
- Been baptized by immersion; and
- Attended a Discover Sagemont Lunch
Salvation
When you believe that Jesus Christ has the power to forgive your sins and you place your faith in Him, you accept His free gift of salvation and begin your life as a Christian. If you are not familiar with this concept and/or have not yet made the decision to follow Christ, we would love to help you with any questions you may have.
Baptism
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Baptism is only available to those who have made the choice to repent from sin and follow Jesus Christ.
Discover Sagemont Lunch
Connect at Sagemont Church by attending a Discover Sagemont Lunch – offered every month from 12:45pm to 2:00pm in Room WC1127, followed by a 15-minute church tour! A delicious free meal will be provided for you with the opportunity to meet some of our pastors, ministers, and/or other staff. Enjoy fellowship in a comfortable, casual setting with a table host to answer your questions and help you determine your next steps.
