HELPING HANDS
& FOSTER CARE

• Please come physically to our location to learn about and receive the following resources.
• Food Pantry: We offer weekly food boxes for those who need extra help with groceries.
• Financial Request: We help those in need of financial assistance with rent, mortgage or utility payments. We review all request, and this process takes 7 to 10 business days.
• Foster Care Resources
  • Sagemont provides resources for foster, adoptive, kinship and vulnerable families. It also provides services opportunities for those wanting to minister to those in need. Resources and service opportunities include:
    • Fostering Love Closet: Baby items, clothing, shoes for ages 0-18
    • Care Portal: Technology connecting community needs to community/church resources
    • Foster Care Support Group: Community of foster, adoptive, kinship families; Every Wednesday Night at Sagemont Church 6:30pm in WC 1330

SERVE

• Our ministry operates every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
• If these hours don’t fit your schedule but you’d still like to serve, send me an email, and we’ll work together to find an opportunity that suits you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN YOU VOLUNTEER?

• Food Pantry: Stock shelves, prepare food boxes and homeless bags, greet visitors, pray with them, and share the gospel.
• Fostering Love Closet: Sort and hang clothes, track inventory, greet visitors, pray with them, and share the gospel.
• Financial Requests: Assist people with filling out forms, gathering necessary paperwork, and providing resources to help with their requests.

GIVE

• Your contributions to Sagemont Church enable us to serve more people and expand our efforts. You can give HERE.
• Give Clothes: infant to 18 years old. Shirts, pants, shorts, shoes, diapers, etc. Drop items off at the Sagemont Annex, during business hours. 
• Give Food: rice, beans, pasta, cereal, canned foods/ meals, Peanut Butter, Jelly / Jam, Spaghetti Sauce, etc.
• Care Portal: People are always requesting items for their home; you could meet the need!

PRAY

• Pray for those who come to us for assistance, that their mental, physical, and spiritual needs will be met and that they will grow in faith.
• Pray for our volunteers to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, bold in sharing their faith, and welcoming others into our Sagemont family.
• Pray that the Lord continues to send people our way and that more individuals become aware of the resources available to them.
